A year ago I made a post about my cat. She scratched her face a lot. I went to the vet and she prescribed an antibacterial medicine. The problem went away for a while, but it came back a month ago. I sent her to another vet, were they did skin and fur exams. The results are in the images 1 and 2.
Now, I'm confused about a medicine I must give my cat. It's called "silimadrag" which basically is for liver health (image 3). My confusion comes from the fact that they didn't do blood exams, or anything that could indicate that her liver isn't okay. Another thing that I find kinda weird is that the vet said I must stop feeding my cat raw, that I should feed her "premium kibble" (nothing specific) instead. My boyfriend is confused as well because it's not related to the fungus. So, I'm here to get more opinions: is this related? Can the raw food be affecting the fungus? Can these exams actually say something about the liver? Please let me know what you think.
By the way, I must also give her an antifungal medicine called "itraskin" (image 4). I'd appreciate any help!
Is it yeast? My pup has yeast and I'm doing my best to deal with it without meds. If it is yeast, kibble would only make it worse as yeast loves carbs. My girl is on raw, however I was thinking of switching to cooked to see if it would help bc her raw food has tripe. Tripe could make the itch worse as it's a fermented food. Also look into Adored beast apothecary. I gave my dog the liver tonic, and it really helped, but I think I stopped too soon, so I'm doing the yeasty beat protocol rn
