So my room mate came home the other day with these...

I've seen people dip white vans before, which usually end up looking great except for one thing... the sole ends up looking kinda shotty (to me at least.)
Does anybody think these would turn out any better with them having the gum sole? I really love the idea of indigo shoes, and I'm thinking about giving this a shot since they're fairly cheap. I've never dipped anything before, but there's a first time for everything!
edit: do you think maybe dipping them into the bucket upside down would work? So that the sole remains out of the indigo?
