Trailer hitch winch

I got a 2023 Rav4, adventure model. I was thinking about buying a relatively small trailer hitch winch to help if I grt stuck in a snow bank, small ditch, or anything stupid like that.
I don't have any experience with the rav4 or winches.. is this a reasonable thing to do? Would I need to make any other modifications to do this?
