Intermittent Wiper Settings

Alright RAV4 family— help your clueless friend out! 😂😂
I have a 2021 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium. The wipers are currently set on auto. I have adjusted the frequency and I cannot seem to get them at the right pace. They’ve wipe when not much rain is on the windshield and have’t wiped when there is. If I don’t use auto then they’re constantly on; low or high. How do I get to just an intermittent non-auto setting?
