Hello!
I've owned a Raspberry Pi B for over a year, and used it as NAS/Share/Download center/Owncloud blah blah. I'm running a somewhat updated raspbian with all the installed stuff and things go really good.
The thing is that I saw some weeks ago the "magic mirror" tutorial and I've been thinking on a similar setup and being able to show a bit more of stuff and whatnot (Not looking towards making a "magic mirror", but more like a supplementary screen so I can interact easily and directly with the pi and also getting temperature and stuff information).
I saw the official touchscreen, but I'm not really sure if its the best option out there (or if I actually need a TOUCHscreen).
Also, I'm a bit concerned with power consumption (I'm already using a "special" power adapter to power both the raspberry and its hard drive).
Any suggestions? Is that screen the way to go? Thanks!
EDIT: Added the fact that I'm not looking towards the "magic mirror effect", but a secondary screen to show information, that somehow I forgot to point, lol.
