I have no idea if this is the right place for this, but this is best place I could think of.
This friend of mine I've known for a couple of years now has just come and told me that she was raped. I have no exact time for how long ago it was, but it seems like it was fairly recent. She has been talking to me a little about how she feels like she doesnt want to live and I just want to be here the best I can for her, but my problem is my absolute ineptitude at being empathetic. I try my best to, but I'm just really bad at it. So, if some of yall would be willing to give me some pointers to make here feel as comfortable and secure as possible and helping me help her. It would be most appreciated. Thank you so much to anyone willing to help.
