I’m single now and thankfully he was sent to prison for what he did to me (although not for enough time as he took a plea deal), but is it normal for consensual intimacy to be weird after the fact? It’s been over two years now and I met this guy at a club in Las Vegas, we found a place to meet up and we had some consensual adult fun. However I started to go into fight mode in the beginning despite me knowing what was going to happen and wanting it to happen. I did have a great time and he was awesome but I wonder if consensual intimacy will always be like this where even though I want to engage, Another part of me is saying “remember what happened.”

For the record I have been diagnosed with PTSD but for an entirely different reason.
