Abuse stats?
Post Body

Yeah. Tough topic.

This should be do-able with anonymized data (no names, no locations) of known cases, but I can't find such a research database.

In my case, I(M) was 3 when the abuse started. Possible candidates are mother, brother (age 13), sister (age 16) and father.

Some 30% of CSA is committed by a family member living in the same dwelling. This is higher for younger kids. (They get out less) but fewer overall cases. (Not as sexy?)

My reading says Brother/Sister is the most common followed by father/daughter or brother/brother. Mom is at the back of the pack.

So far I've not found a report or a database. Where should I look?
