Am I a virgin or not anymore

I heard some ppl talking about rape, and well they started telling their one friend that they are still a virgin even tho he/she was raped. They backed it up with saying that their still a virgin bc it was without consent. Well it has me wondering if someone who has been raped is still a virgin or not. Asking mostly bc we know that when ppl have sex they lose their virginity. So that’s why I as today. Is a victim of rape still a virgin or not anymore?
