I work in a Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Hospital. After the Coronavirus started hitting the States, and we started changing up our policies, our IT guy put bottles of 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in the Treatment room, and asked us to start using them to mist the keyboards, mice, and fluid pumps, in an effort to combat the virus.
I tried to explain to him that 99% alcohol is not nearly as good as 70% when it comes to killing things. His ignorant-ass response was "Well, actually, 70% is just the same as 99%, but with more water; and then 99% is safer for all the electronics."
Like... Yeah, you're not wrong about it being "safer" for the electronics, but it's a pointless fucking endeavor! Just as effective at killing the germs, and even SAFER for the fucking electronics, would literally be DOING NOTHING! WTH, dude?
