I have a “friend” since I was about 11 or 12 that seems to just stay in her own bubble and never wants to do anything else but go smoke hookah.

We are both 20 and studying in colleges close to our area we grew up. While we have always have had fights because she was rude or vise versa or just because we are irritated with each other the fight I had with her just now kinda had me thinking, why I am I friends with this person?

I have been to 23 countries, I have met dozens of interesting people, we don’t share much common interests, and we don’t seems to really click like we used to back in high school.

We used to be in a group with two other girls (I am a gay 20 year old btw) but one of them I am not friends with because she is deeply superficial and the other one is my only really good friend but she’s extremely introverted and we don’t talk all the time because she’s busy with school and work.

I have a few gay friends I met at bars but I’m still kinda developing the relationships with them since they’re more fresh. Also they live farther and hanging out with these people are more practical.

I also find that most are conservative in ways that make me still question why I hangout with them. They kinda just joke around with me being gay too much and have told me they think it was a choice.

Anyways this is my only complaint in life. I have a good life just shitty friends.
