I've been to the DMV multiple times to try to get my car registered. I lived in Utah, where I purchased my car in 2013, now I reside in NJ. In the next week or two I will be moving to Colorado. I've been trying to get my shit in order before I head out. I financed my car so I don't have a title, they won't send me or anyone for that matter, the original title. NJ DMV says they wont register without the original title. Idk where the fuck to turn. I've looked into worst case scenario regarding driving/getting pulled over without registration and I think I may just risk it. Anyone knowledgeable about laws/dmv regulations; could they impound/tow my vehicle if its a week over due?
