I was looking for resale tickets to a concert in the specific band's sub. Several people contacted me with the tickets I wanted, but being the skeptical person I am, I did some digging.
They sent me "proof" of possession of the tickets I wanted by sending me a screenshot of the confirmation email from Ticketmaster, but it took them far too long to send it, they had blocked out the order number, and the format of the email did not fit other Ticketmaster emails I received. To top it all off, I ran the photo through a program and found that it had been HEAVILY doctored.
I immediately tried reporting them to Reddit, but immediately ran into problems:
You can only report individual messages in the chat, otherwise theres a huge process to follow
SCAMMING ISNT EVEN IN THE OPTIONS LIST WHEN YOU TRY TO REPORT. Copyright infringement is on the list but the the most common internet crime on the planet isnt?? Wtf Admins??
Following that disappointment, I called them out and called them scammer scum, which id 100% correct, AND I GOT A STRIKE AGAINST MY ACCOUNT FOR HARRASSMENT
Fuck you, Reddit Admins
