I'm sick right now. I'm not the kind of person to tell people that I'm sick for attention or anything, but if a friend or someone asks "How are you?" I'll usually answer honestly and say that I'm sick. Then they often start with the "Did you take a covid test? What are your symptoms? Get plenty of rest and drink water and take medicine!!". Obviously their intentions are good so I just say like "Thanks" or something but its annoying that someone feels the need to tell me to do the things that every adult already knows to do when they are sick. What I would prefer is like "That sucks, I hope you feel better soon!"
