God Bless You (My First Randonaut Trip Report)
Post Body

Photos from my trip

I first heard about Randonauting through Royce Christyn, a New Thought author who recently released a book on manifesting and the law of attraction titled "Scripting The Life You Want: Manifest Your Dreams with Just Pen and Paper."

He was talking about Fatum Bot on a YouTube video interview he did for the release of his book and also mentions Fatum Bot in his book.

I just received the book in the mail today and I was eager to try out one of his ideas from the book, so I Googled Fatum Bot and found the Randonautica website and downloaded the app to my phone.

I decided I would do my first Randonaut trip in the evening and that my intention would be to receive a message from God. I was taking a bath and Whatsapping with a friend, discussing the subject of money, when she texted "I just sent you a spell."

My Paypal app notification popped up on my phone and said I had just received $100 from her. The note attached to the transaction read "I believe in your prosperity." She had just sent me a prosperity spell.

After my bath as I was getting ready to leave, I pulled the Randonautica app up on my phone and used these settings: Attractor (5), which I chose because someone on this Reddit said that using attractors are better than using voids, 1000 meters, and ANU.

I had no idea what I was doing but I cleared my mind and repeated "I intend to receive a message from God" three times before I hit the start button.

I got a Pseudo Point and was unsure whether to just use that location or reset and try for an Attractor again but something told me to just use the Psuedo Point which I still have no clue what that means.

I live in Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington and it was after midnight as I left my apartment and followed my GPS to the Pseudo Point. I was looking around and noticed the name of an apartment complex across the street named "El Capitan (The Captain)." I also noticed a business building sign with the word "Compass" on it.

The Pseudo Point ended up being an ATM in a Shell Gas Station, which was open and busy with customers. I wanted to turn around because I wasn't expecting to encounter so many people at the location but something told me to stick with it and complete the trip. I also remembered the guidance that interacting with the environment surrounding the location will give you better results.

There was a line of customers waiting outside due to social distancing so I took my spot at the back of the line. As I was waiting I noticed a homeless man sitting on the walkway playing drums loudly and in sync with the music he was blasting from a boombox.

One of his drums had a hexagram on it, which stood out to me because the Star of David is a meaningful symbol to me that is used in my spiritual community.

As I was waiting in line I remembered the $100 I had just received from my friend and got the idea that I was supposed to withdraw the $100. When it was my turn to go inside the shop I withdrew the $100 from the ATM, still not knowing what the hell I was doing and still not having received my message from God.

I left the shop and as I was passing the homeless man an impulse/thought appeared. "Give him the money." I'm currently not working and have financial worries, as many are experiencing today, so the selfish, scarcity mindset in my mind told me to just keeping walking and keep the money for myself.

I was about a block away walking towards home when the impulse returned. I had a feeling that if I didn't give him the money the trip wouldn't be complete.

I turned around, walked up to him in front of a bunch of people watching our interaction, knelt down, and asked him if I could take a photo of the star on his drum.

"Sure," he said, "but it's gonna cost you a couple of dollars." I chuckled knowingly inside. "Okay," I replied. I took some photos of the star and asked him why he had painted the star on the drum.

"It's the Star of David," he said. "My name is David, after David from the Bible." I gave him the $100 and as I got up to leave he said "God bless you." I had received my message.

The message that I received from this trip is that with God as my captain and my compass, I will be blessed with prosperity. That there is more than enough to share with those in need. And that "it is in giving that we receive," as one of my favorite lines from the Prayer of Saint Francis says.
