Am I doing this right?

So I start a chat with the bot, send it my location is the USA using the paperclip/location icon, then...nothing. So I send "/getattractor" to which it tells me to wait. It then sends me only locations out of London. I know it's based out of there but am I skipping a step to not get a local hit?
