I was having such a rough day at work on Wednesday. I ended up running into the sweetest family who was on their last day of vacation. Everything about them screamed joy and talking to them really helped.
I decided to take them behind the scenes of our reptile room to give some extra magic.
After saying bye, I get a radio call one hour later that a guest requested me at our touchpool. I get over there and see the family from earlier!
The mom kept saying how they felt so special but she wanted to do something for me. She had spent the last hour making the adorable money heart to show her appreciation to me. We both cried and hugged. I don’t think she knew how much that little token of kindness meant to me. I am now keeping it in my work lanyard and whenever I get anxiety over a rude guest, I just pull it up to look at.
