Went to a small little fast food restaurant in town, wanted to share my experience

Post Body

So as mentioned in the title, I walked into a fast food restaurant. And it was somewhat quiet, but the door had a little slam and noise to it. An elderly man walked in and I noticed he had a Purple Heart badge on his hat. But then it seemed as if a little rush happened and people started going in and out. When I was waiting for my food I noticed when the door would slam, the man would jump, I immediately took this as a possible sign of ptsd. So I walked closer to the door and whenever someone came in I made sure the door didn’t slam. Then whenever he left I opened the door for him as well. I just felt as if it was a nice little story to share here. The fact that he never even knew what I did shows the fact that even if you don’t know or see someone commit an act of kindness it doesn’t mean people aren’t thinking about you or caring for you. Just because you don’t see it happen doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
