[Request] Austin wife seeks quality beans for overworked husband

Request has been fulfilled - Thanks so much!

I have been sick, off and on, since early February. It began as physical, and we are now realizing I'm going through some serious depression. I'm on medicine, and seeing a therapist, but I have missed a lot of work over the last two months. This means we're down to a whatever'sinthefreezer/pantry diet.

Now, that's something we can handle, and it'll be okay.

But he LOVES his coffee.

We usually buy a two pound bag of Ruta Maya dark roasted beans from the grocery store. He works the overnight shift from home (telecommutes) and uses the coffee to keep him awake and alert.

See - he's been working his butt off while I've been sick. He hasn't had a day off since February. He's been working his regular shift on his normal schedule, and also overtime on his nights off. He's doing this for us, sacrificing his time to make sure we can pay the bills.

He is willing to switch from what he's been using to five o'clock coffee. He claims this isn't a big deal, that he can manage with the cheaper stuff. And yes, he can manage. But I know him. Coffee is his one splurge, the one thing he consumes that he takes absolute enjoyment in. Even when we're being thrifty, good coffee beans are the one thing we make an effort to buy. The better the coffee, the better his night working. And I want him to have good nights at work, especially now with the way I've been lately.

I would love it if someone could get him a pound or so of good quality coffee beans. We have a grinder, and a drip coffee machine, I would just like to be able to give him some decent beans so that his coffee is enjoyable, not merely tolerable.

Any assistance would be appreciated. I don't think we will be able to buy decent coffee beans on our own until May, when our income is back to normal levels.

I will pay it forward as soon as our income is back to normal.
