So in an attempt to spice up my work lunches I'm trying to figure out how to make ramen work...at work! I've tried a few cup ramens and I'm just not happy with them so I'm bringing my preferred brand of cheap instant ramen (Maruchan), a microwaveable bowl with a lid, and chopsticks.
I'm much happier with this, however the texture on the noodles is...weird. They're very rubbery, I suppose is how I would describe them? I'm microwaving them for three minutes and using the same amount of water as on the stovetop, but I'm curious if anyone has any tips for how to utilize the microwave while getting a better texture from the noodles. Obviously remember I'm at work and my lunch break is only 30 minutes, so hopefully there's advice that's not too time or resource intensive.
Anyway, any tips on this would be great!
