Info on wire to ground PIN 11 to enable remote start with AlfaOBD

Post Body

Recently got my first Ram. It’s a 2020 Ram 1500 classic SLT and I’m trying to enable remote start with AlfaOBD. I have successfully programmed 2 new key fobs for the truck, and have successfully enable remote start and have gotten to the point where the hood latch signal is obstructing remote start. Trying to do this the most budget friendly way so I have ordered some 1k ohm 1 watt resistors to attempt plugging one into the hood latch connecter. I don’t want to take the time to try and trace back the wire to see if it makes it to the BCM so just going with the trial and error method since the resistors are only a few bucks for a bag. If it is unsuccessful, I’m reading online that you can just get a pin and cable to ground out PIN 11 but I’m not able to really find any information on said PIN/wire. Hoping someone here can maybe give me some more clear information. I’m no mechanic by any means, but I feel more comfortable than the average joe. However, vehicle wiring is something I’ve never messed with and don’t want to screw anything up should I go that route. Any help is appreciated and if you need more information on my specific situation feel free to ask. Thanks in advance!(and I will likely thank you again lol)
