Spectrum intermittent internet

Anyone else having issues with spectrum internet? I'm down in Fuquay, and for the last couple of days I've been getting latency spikes and 5-10% packet loss when pinging various address, e.g google. Every 15 minutes or less the connection drops entirely (modem starts blinking)
I called spectrum, but they were no help. Won't get a tech out til Thursday. Anything I might be able to try? Already restarted modem and router multiple times, using wired connection.
