For quick context - 20NB, been NC for 3.5 years. Currently a Uni student, and figuring out a lot of stuff. CPTSD and BPD with Disasociation, both directly linked to being RBN. Long time lurker, first time poster etc etc.
Anyways, the "Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents" books by Lindsay C Gibson are intriguing, and I've been reccomended them a few times now. However, I'm looking at these books and my biggest fear is that they won't be pro-NC.
I'm honestly just sick and tired of the whole 'they're your parents though' bullshit and I just want to know if that's in these books, or if they're geared more towards people still interacting with their parents.
Thank you in advance guys. Don't want to waste my money on another shitty self help book.
