So we haven't had running hot water for two weeks and dad has been looking into getting something for the shower to heat water up on its own. I asked about it cause I was curious if we were getting it or not.
Cue mom who hears us from the kitchen and starts yelling: "WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO HER ABOUT IT AND NOT ME? YOU NEVER TALK TO ME ABOUT ANYTHING"
Long story short, dad kept trying to tell her that they've discussed this already, she kept saying no. I told her hey we were talking about it cause I ASKED ABOUT IT. She never asked about it again since last week, so dad didn't tell her anything about it anymore. She started victimizing herself, saying that "only you smart people get to talk about things, us idiots get no attention" (calling herself an idiot and all that). She's been jabbing at dad for the past few minutes, still victimizing herself over this simple talk I was having with him. Well their argument kept on going with more and more jabs and even dad calling her out on acting like a victim.
I just went off to my room with my cat and that's it. I chose not to take any sides, last time I sided with dad two years ago, mom made such a big deal out of it that we continued to argue the next day for two more hours while telling me that nobody in the family ever wanted me, only she did, and that I should be thankful for her raising me and shit.
And yes, I know I'm 23. I literally got no other place to go to and call it home, I don't have enough money for rent (just started work months ago and it's minimum wage which is way less than minimum wage in the US or other countries) and my country doesn't run special places that can house youths that are homeless. At this point I don't believe anyone in my house anymore and I just look for ways to escape arguments without getting involved in them.
