I have to thank this community for opening my eyes and showing me the way I react to situations now is because of my upbringing, not because I'm damaged. I explained to my husband last night what having a collective community has been like for me, and how you all make more of a difference than years of therapy, because you've shown me this is normal for people with my experience. Whereas my therapist will show me how to better react to something, you guys have shown me my reactions are likely from being conditioned this way. And for you all, im grateful.
