So I (23F) finally decided to get a tattoo for myself by myself. I have two smaller ones I got with my friends, but this time I wanted to ti it solo. I also have bad anxiety so this is a big step for me. Well, today is the day. And I came up to my Nmom and told her. Well... her reaction wasn't surprising but kinda hurt.
"Your are ruing your body" "Isn't two enough" "Oh you decide everything else for yourself, so do w.e. you want." Etc...
I'm the last baby of three, and still live at home cause I work and am trying to finish a masters degree. I hate that she sees me as a baby still, even though she at my age HAD two babies. And she still treats me like I'm an irresponsible and young kid. I paid for all of my college, have three jobs (two remote and part-time) and am trying to be smart financially to pay off Masters sooner than later and then move out.
This kinda ruined my mood... I just wanted to share.
