I’m a 22 year old male. Any time I’m wearing thin shorts or sweats around the house, my mom will always try and look at my stuff through my clothes. Every time she does this it causes me to shut down inside. I get the chills and I instantly become numb and feel unhuman. Recently she’s been smiling at me and telling me, “you look just like your father at that age,” and it freaks me out. Anyone else..?
Thank you, that’s how it feels for me too. I had a really bad go at school when I tried, I was a division 1 baseball player, but I wasn’t raised with the tools to navigate school. I am a baseball coach and instructor in the mean time. I have surrounded myself with 2 of my best friends I could ask for, and I’m doing my best to relearn how the world works and the way I should see it. Until then I’m financially dependent on them. My father is recently retired CEO. Multi million dollar company. You can only imagine how this household is. The typical “we’re perfect but we’re really not.” I’d be willing to say Jordan Peterson saved my life. You mentioned your son is 23, JBP’s main audience is young men looking for a direction in life, wonderful speaker.

100%. She’d say something like, “what’re you talking about? How dare you accuse me of that?”
