I threw a baby shower for myself. I cooked all day for it and then went to the place. She set it up and began drinking. Her friends showed up. Complemented all the work she did and bought her more shots. I chased my 2 year old around as she drank her heart away. Opened my gifts. When it was time to clean up she was puking. She said no more drinks after 4 but others decided to force her to drink more. Final count a MINIMUM OF 8 DRINKS! Nobody knows a full amount. So everyone but 2 people left to either care for her or leave in general leaving me who's high-risk pregnant to clean and take care of a toddler. My mothers boss then tells me "Get over it she didn't do this on purpose!" As I am visibly upset.
Moral of the story: Don't throw a baby shower with Nmom and a bunch of enablers.
