Mind you, I'm only 32 and very single but that doesn't stop NMom from asking me when I'm gonna have her grandbabies. "Mother, I'm not ready for kids and I don't even have a boyfriend."

"You don't need a boyfriend, go to the sperm bank! That's what the story is on the Young and Restless right now!" (Actual quote, lol.)

"If you want a baby in your life so badly, why don't you just adopt again?"(She's 66 and barren, I was adopted.)

"But then it won't be my baby! I mean...your baby!" K! Cool story, NMom.

If I ever do decide to have children, it will be either after she's dead or I've gone full NC and when I have a fully supportive partner. She ain't messin with my autonomy today!
