Because, ya know, of course I can't do anything right.
She made some pear crisp today and it was pretty soupy, but whatever, I figured I'd use a spatula because it was in a pan and it worked JUST fine.
A few minutes later, I'm enjoying my dessert when I hear, "Why wouldn't you use a spoon to serve this? Why would you even THINK to use a spatula?"
I just told her it didn't occur to me (because it didn't!). I mean, this is unreasonable, right? Using a spatula wasn't some stupid faux-pas, was it?
Like... it's gotten to the point where I'm questioning that this is wrong, even though I know she's just being dumb. I second-guess everything now. :(
