Resources for advice I should've gotten from my parents?

Post Body

Even though I technically am an adult I feel like I am not good at adulting because of my messed up childhood, being bullied by my parents. I'm just wondering if there is a book or website or something with advice about how to be an adult, particularly more emotionally developed?

I feel like I am so fearful of other people that I am locking myself away. I feel like everyone is going to be as mean to me as my parents were. Maybe I just need to hear that I'm not a terrible person. I don't even know if that would help.
