Basically the title. A local mass shooter (not specifying more for privacy) who is currently incarcerated for life reminds me exactly of my ndad. Threatening violence as a means of controlling other people, violent and unhinged behaviour when he isn’t able to get his way, believes the whole world is conspiring against him, abrasive personality, believes in unhinged conspiracies, entitlement, blaming everybody else except himself when things go wrong, etc.

My ndad has committed violent crimes against me - assault, violence, hitting, using law enforcement against me, stalking, attempts to end my life, vandalizing my property, etc. We are very strict NC for over 6 years. I have been wanting to turn him in to the police but I’m really scared. My mental health is fragile right now because of the abuse and violence and I’m not sure I can handle a judicial process at the moment
