I was on a call with my parents, my mum is so toxic and has always picked at my flaws. On the call she commented on my appearance and my dad was snickering at the back. It hurt and I’m crying.

Update:

I’m 21 and a student, I also depend financially on my parents. So I do have to comply with their rules. The do hurt me emotionally but they let me live rent free, my parents are coming over and they will be bringing food and goods that I asked them to. So it’s confusing, they are not bad ppl but sometimes they just hurt me.
