Post Body

Has anyone repeatedly experienced attracting narcissists outside their family because of the way they were raised / grew up with?

I grew up with both nparents and nsiblings, and have always viewed relationships as a way out of that hellhole I then called home. So in the end, I attracted narc “friends” (some even to have claimed as my best friends) who sided with my family on why I’m getting all the negative attention, a narc partner who constantly gaslighted me and blows up at the smallest things (he also became my last serious partner and I have been single ever since because it was THAT traumatic), and more recently, a boss who literally took every she chance she could get to chastise/humiliate me and made sure I’m the most worthless member of the team.

I have gotten rid of these narcs one by one over the past few years, and I am seeing more clarity on what to do now. Keen to know your stories!
