I just started going NC with my Nparent in the last few weeks. While I'm relieved and confident in the choice, I'm also a total mess and wasn't expecting the tidal wave of grief, shame, anger, and just ALL the emotions. My siblings and spouse have been really supportive, which is helping a ton. This week I'm starting to feel like the storm clouds are parting a bit, but WOOF this is hard.
