Hello everyone! I’ve made posts in the past asking for advice, and I got some fairly wonderful advice and following that, I would like to say that due to my N-mother I couldn’t leave and i was taunted and told how bad of a child I(21) was. I got another job in September and my relationship with my parents got slightly better until they started acting like they used to. My past two weekends were horrible due to what was being said to me and the threats of violence. After crying myself to sleep on Saturday I told myself I would escape soon. First things I did was get the required documents I needed, my N-mom has my passport but I know how to get it back, I applied for many rental adds and asked work for a job letter which I got today and I’ve let work know as well that I’ll be moving out shortly. Now since I live in Canada I’m not sure about two things, if I want to apply for a no contact order or restraining order how may I go about that? I do not have much evidence on my mother threatening me (i can try if it happens again) and I need a landlord reference for which I don’t know what to do. Please let me know what would be the best options and any other tips will be much appreciated. Thank you all so so much!!
