After months of media black out on the coverage of the strikes, the first major headlines are appearing, as well as some other interesting reads from the common tabloids. See links below.

TL;DR: Only 3 unions left at the table. Biden and congress are threatening both carriers & labor. Congress is so split that a work stoppage will likely NOT happen (depending on the source). Union leaders are worried about what a strike will do to their funds. Transportation Board worried about long term loss of business to truckers. Carriers are threatening a lock out.
