A fellow user struck an idea in the /r/raidsecrets Ps4 Group Chat a few hours ago. It was that the Purple sphere (Lets call it PS) found randomly in Tower Central and momentarily in the Special Event section would have a different use other than providing Guardians with a source of entertainment while waiting for Fireteam members to finish their shit. The only use he thought of was that the ball had something to do with the Vitalis (Teal Sphere with spinning stuff in the Speaker Room). I immediately theory-gasmed at the thought and immediately got to work.

I tested out a bunch of things and here's the Data I collected:

•PS WILL disappear if brought to a different part of the tower. •As long as YOU don't trnasition to the area, PS will stay in position. •First time I tried it, PS vanished, I came back to Tower Central and found there to be 2 PS's at the same time. •I brought both to Tower North and only one vanished. PS2 (Pun intended) stayed and I was able to bring it to the Speaker •The barrier that blocks us from touching the Vitalis applies to the ball as well :( •I stood on the ball and it vanished so I came back AGAIN to Tower Central and found 3 PS's at the same time. (Screenie coming soon I suck at Reddit) •One of the PS's seems to constantly spawn on the right side of the Iron Banner section as you come in. (Partially glitched inside a box.) •Brought all 3 PS's (I'm Destiny's Official Ball Juggler now) to Tower North and 2 disappeared leaving me with 1 again.

That's all I tested so far but that's not all that I'm going to. Feel free to post your findings as well as it could help. I honestly think this ball serves a different purpose because...well...it freaking glows and shit and besides, Bungo had the time to upgrade it from Y1 but can't do squat about Firebolts with Viking Funeral and Touch of Flame. (No offense Bungo I'm just salty.)
