With all the talk about the Raiders wanting to move up, but also, that the Raiders would go all in for Daniels, wouldn't it be a total Raiders thing to do just that?
I mean it in the sense that before this past season, if you lined up all the eligible quartback prospects, Daniels wouldn't be in the top 5, much less the 1st pick. What if they DO move up to #1, and pick Daniels and he goes on to be a bust, but Williams goes on to be like Stroud was this past season? The media would have a field day.
I'll be honest, I'm a USC homer. And a loyal member of the Nation. I am super excited and glad we kept AP. But I really don't want a qb just because they have history. If the Raiders move up, I want them to pick the absolute best quarterback they can, the one with the highest ceiling and I'm not sold on Daniels. Not versus Williams at least. I know I'm gonna get raked over the coals by some, that's fine. I just don't want another 1st round bust at qb. I'm not in my 20s like a lot of you. I remember nothing Todd Marinovich AND Jawalrus.
Honestly, I just want a GREAT player from the 1st round.
