Can you have sustained success in todays NFL without an offensive minded coach? Just thinking about the previous Dynasty (Patriots) were able to keep their OC for years and the Chiefs have an offensive HC. In todays NFL if an OC has any success they immediately are offered a HC position (Mike McDaniels, Ben Johnson, Kevin OConnell, etc.) Older dynasties with defensive HCs (Pats, Steelers, Seahawks) have issues with OC turnover. Even the Bills had to change OCs mid season. So I just wonder if the NFL has changed to the point where it will be very difficult to build a consistently great team with a Defensive HC, with having to consistently change OCs if they have any success.
