So much talk has gone around the Feb 15th date which I dont truly understand. A trade cant be done wether we have a verbal agreement or not and would have to guarentee that money regardless if a trade would be done. As it stands right now, teams are willing to play chicken with us and wait until after that date. Carr doesnt need to agree to anything until after that date AND there is a real threat that we would just keep him on our roster and have him sit for the year. Carr obviously has value, too many teams need QBs and not enough good QB options out there but some dominos may need to fall first. Im hoping all the reports are just media speculations about the guarentee instead of an insight on how we value our team assets. If our FO cant get ANY value for him then this has been one of the biggest fuck ups that I can remember and IM A RAIDERS FAN.
