Hello all,
Thanks for tuning in to my TwitCasting stream last night. After a few technical difficulties, the stream stayed up consistently for the last 1 hour and 40 minutes of the show. I wasn't paying much attention to the stream during the show, but I read through the comments and such after. Thanks to all who sent positive comments, and lol to those who didn't--for clarification, the singing and talking was not me--unsurprisingly, microphones pick up whatever is nearby. Amazingly, there were over 20,000 cumulative views throughout the night. Glad I was able to let so many of you who weren't there experience the show.
Here's the download link for those last 1 hour and 40 minutes, which starts with There There (song 7) and goes uninterrupted through the end of the show: http://www.filedropper.com/radioheadamsterdammay20
Next, here's the only video I took last night, of Tinker Tailor... https://youtu.be/aoBBc61WoOo
Finally, on to the future. I am not at tonight's show, but I will be at Paris night 1. I'm happy to stream again if you guys want me to. Now that I have TwitCasting figured out, I'm confident I could broadcast the whole show straight through with no drops. I actually purchased a good quality external microphone before the Amsterdam show, but I was unable to find the correct cable to make it compatible with my iPhone. I read online that you need a stereo RCA Male to Dual RCA Female cable. I bought one of those, but the mic didn't work. After some further research it might be because the connector I bought was TRS not TRRS. Anyways, if you guys want a higher quality Paris stream, all I need is for someone to either loan me the correct adapter or let me know a store in Paris (I'm staying near Place de Vosges, so somewhere near there) that definitely sells the correct cable so I can go purchase it. It's hard enough to communicate the type of cable I need in English since most electronic store workers aren't well versed in this sort of thing, so I certainly would not be able to figure it out in French. For reference, the microphone I purchased is linked below (and connects via an auxiliary connection), and I have an iPhone 6S. Thanks, and hope you guys get the chance to see Radiohead on this tour.
