My memory is really bad and this is driving me nuts.
A long time ago I remember reading this story that said Thom and Johnny were talking about songwriting and Johnny implied Thom wasn’t good at writing songs on piano or something to that effect and so Thom wrote (insert song) on piano to prove him wrong.
I can’t remember what song it was. It might’ve been Sail to the Moon or Pyramid Song. Does anybody remember reading anything similar and remember which it was?
It doesn’t make much sense to me since I know Johnny didn’t even know how to play piano when he joined the band. But still, I was wondering if this is a real story.
