Hi everyone,
I upgraded to a Sapphire Pulse RX5600xt recently, which is currently paired with 16GB of DDR4 2400, and an i5 7500.
Whilst I'm waiting for my new Ryzen and B550, I'm trying to understand the cause of one particular issue I've experienced.
In short, I am randomly experiencing moments of input lag across various games as if I'm playing through stadia. So, imagine I am trying to strafe left, and the action begins a few seconds after, and then so do the following inputs.
I first noticed in BF:V multiplayer and then Doom Eternal singleplayer throughout various points. Radeon anti-lag is off; only thing I have enabled is sharpening at 20%.
In the case of BF:V, this seemed to occur during the loading of a new map (round start), and lasted for about 20-30 seconds once the match began. In Doom, this would randomly occur and last for a few seconds at most, despite it running near/at 144fps with vysnc off and a manual cap also at 144 - displaying through a freesync monitor.
Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated :)
