Post Body

Quite a while ago already I bought a radeon rx 560 (4gb) together with several other components for a dyi pc. It works well, no complaints, it could have been a better card, sure, but then I would have had to shell out more too at the time.

I however today took a look at the temps with hwmonitor and saw it hit 75 degrees C when playing firewatch (no pun intended). That seems to be higher than what is allowed for this card. I saw someone on youtube crank up the fan speed manually at higher degrees, so I tried doing that. My computer started making more sound, but the heat did go down a bit, meaning I had just one fire to watch. However at some point in the game it stopped, the computer just crashed. When I restarted my pc I got the message that I saw in the top.

Did I do something wrong? Is something wrong with my card? I do believe it has always been a bit on the hot side (the card that is) so the only thing that is new is that I changed the WattMan settings.

Any ideas?
