Yesterday when I got in my car and the R8 turned on it immediately started picking up a pretty weak rear KA band which I thought was a little odd since I live in a pretty rural area and it was 6am so there is very little KA in my area usually but I trusted the detector and continued driving to work the and it kept picking up the signal in pretty much the same strength /- 1 bar occasionally. After 10 minutes of driving and me being fairly certain it the detector was acting weird I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it didn’t pick up any KA signal anymore and worked fine the rest of the day. Today I got into the car and when the detector turned on it immediately picked up the same weak rear KA signal I started driving for a few minutes and it continued picking up the signal so I unplugged it again like the day before but this time when I plugged it back in it wouldn’t stop alerting to the weak rear KA band. I left it unplugged for a few minutes while driving and tried plugging it back in but it still kept alerting no matter if I unplugged it or let it sit turned off before plugging it back in. I’m not sure what is wrong with it I just got it in December.
