I recently was trying out Apple Maps for carplay and was surprised to see it has an onscreen alert of an impending speed trap. In the past I have run google maps and zoomed out to see reported speed traps. I aleays hear that Waze is the best, but I have missed the boat and have never used the app.
Which app is the best in your opinion for giving a heads up about speed traps. FYI I only really speed during interstate road trips, so dense city alerts are not as important (if that makes any difference). What do interstate truckers tend to use?
Are there any detectors that sync up with these user reported platforms or do you need to run them separately on your phone while running a detector?
I’ve used all, highway radar and Waze are the better ones.
