Doing a large dog justice in the midst of a concrete jungle is already hard enough for those with sufficient time at hand. But as a foreigner working full-time? Some might even say it's outright selfish of you to have gotten such a mutt in the first place. Finding someone willing to sit him in order for you to enjoy some private life without the neighbors filing noise complaints to the landlord also hasn't proven easy. Who could have imagined that most people willing to work for a part-timer's wage would be university students who are either too clueless about or too scared of dogs for you to rest assured that Buster will be well taken care of?
There was something almost comical about the sight of a young Korean woman barely weighing more than Buster, eagerly claiming to be capable of tending to his needs. Perhaps it was her enthusiasms, perhaps it was her looks. But by the time you returned to your apartment only to watch her kneeling on the floor behind Buster in nothing more than her panties, even you knew that she was clearly the over-achieving kind of dog sitter.
