Picture it, Madison, WI; May 11 of this year. I was attending my cousin's baby shower at the Madison Club. It's not the most exciting place for a freshly broken up with then 23 year old to find love, but sometimes the universe has other ideas. I was eating my lemon poppy seed cake, an ode to the oh so lovely(though slightly cringy) citrus theme, when I felt someone staring at me. I look up and come face to face with a very young Chris Cornell. Long dark curly hair, brown eyes, but without the four octave vocal range. It was very clear that he was WAY more interested in me than clearing plates. It was just like the movies, it was like we were the only two in the room. Then like a bolt of lightning, he was gone.

Now, this is where Reddit comes in. I never got his number. I only have his Chris Cornell esque looks, the way he looked at me, and his name - John(it's called being observant and getting a glimpse at the name badge). I probably know the main reason for this was a "no fraternizing with the vacationers" rule. But I wasn't. I'll recognize this man anywhere.
