Last night the northern lights were visible in Madison. I’ve seen the northern lights before but I remember them being a faint green that was somewhat hard to see against the city lights. Last night the colors were more dramatic and I could see some shades of red. It was really cool.
I was thinking while I was looking up at the northern lights how nice it would be to cuddle up with you in a sleeping bag and watch the stars with you. We could spend the night talking and laughing and kissing each other. Maybe sometime we’ll see the northern lights just as vibrant as they were yesterday. You can show me your favorite constellation.
It’s really the perfect weather for stargazing. It’s cold enough that it isn’t buggy, but not so cold that we can’t be very toasty if we share a sleeping bag.
Other things:
The weather here in Madison apparently had a high of 80 degrees, so there’s still some time left in the season to go for a picnic together.
I bake a lot. Last night I made baci di dama cookies to celebrate some good news at work. I’m going to start the process of making croissants on Sunday. Perhaps we could make croissants together sometime.
Let’s share a sleeping bag and watch the stars together :)
